What is Dalmatian Jasper ?

Dalmatian stone consists predominantly of feldspars (mesoperthite), Quartz , Alkali Amphiboles, and lesser amounts of Hematite and Epidote. This stone is an igneous microcrystalline quartz with a mixture of other minerals creating the speckled look. It is a member of the Chalcedony, silicate, and quartz group with the chemical composition Si02.
